Our aim is to ensure that Elcometer Limited is the leading manufacturer and supplier of coatings related quality control instrumentation, coatings inspection, concrete inspection, industrial metal detection equipment and SPC systems.

Environmental Policy

Elcometer Limited takes a responsible approach to environmental management. Protection of the environment is an integral part of our activities. The Company will have a programme of continual improvement that will reduce its environmental impact and the company will adopt procedures so that:

1. relevant legal requirements are met,
2. environmental performance is monitored and reviewed.
3. Emissions to air, releases to water and landfilling of solid wastes do not cause unacceptable environmental effects, and
4. We conduct our business in a way that respects our neighbours.

Certification

Elcometer offers certification, traceable to UKAS (formally NAMAS) and NIST standards on request.

Certificates of Conformance are automatically supplied with all shipments, free of charge, indicating that the instrument is working correctly and have been checked in accordance to Elcometer Procedures and verified as being compliant with the terms of our ISO 9000 registration.

Re-certification

Under ISO 9000 certification, accredited companies must identifiy in their procedures the frequency of re-certification of all test equipment. Elcometer offer all customers a full re-certification and re-calibration service upon request.

How often should I re-certify Elcometer Gauges?

The simple answer to this question is whenever your ISO procedures state. Elcometer, however, suggest as a guide, that on normal usage, gauges should be re-certified every 12 months.
