Elcometer 211 Coating Thickness Gauge The Elcometer 211 gauge is held against the test surface. The knurled thumbwheel is then slowly rotated clockwise until the magnet pulls off, a click is heard and the indicator pops up. The thickness value is now indicated.
Rough Surface Calibration The scale can be adjusted manually for measurement on rough surface (e.g. shot or grit blast), or on surfaces or different magnetic permeabilities.
